Dear PAMA Family,
It is with much grief that I inform you of Guro Amy peaceful passing this morning. Amy was the Co-Owner and Co-Director of Princeton Academy of Martial Arts. She was a dedicated and accomplished Martial Artist, inspiring many students over the years. As the founder of the women's program at PAMA, Amy was passionate about the growth and development of women in the Martial Arts. Her knowledge and wisdom guided and affected so many over the years, including me personally.
As many of you know Amy possessed an amazing warrior's spirit as she faced and overcame many adversities in the past few years. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family at PAMA. As warriors we know that death is only a doorway. We pray that on this greatest of journeys that she travel in peace and with grace. Amy's fighting spirit will continue to guide her students. We grant, as our Kali salutation states, "May her warrior's spirit and soul rise to the heavens for they are unconquerable!"
Bahala Na!
Much Love, Admiration, and Respect,
Si Jay Mary Jo
